Tack Cleaning Services

Keep your tack in pristine condition with our comprehensive cleaning service. We offer a thorough cleaning using high-quality saddle soap, followed by your choice of neatsfoot oil or golden mink oil. Our golden mink oil option provides the added benefit of waterproofing, ensuring your leather stays soft and protected. We can clean your tack on-location or bring it to our facility for service.

Western Saddle (minimal detailing): $30.00

Sheath Cleaning

Sheath cleaning is a vital hygienic service for male horses (geldings and stallions), involving the careful cleaning of the sheath – the protective pocket of skin for the horse's privates. Over time, smegma, a waxy buildup of dirt and dead skin cells, can accumulate and, in severe cases, even interfere with urination or lead to other health issues. This service is generally recommended once a year, or as advised by your veterinarian, to ensure your horse's comfort and health. The price is $30.00 for a single horse or $20.00 per horse when booked for multiple horses or boarders

Body Clipping Services

Body clipping can significantly benefit your horse's comfort and health, especially if they're active, have a thick coat, or experience certain medical conditions. We offer professional clipping services to help regulate your horse's body temperature, reduce sweating, and prevent skin issues.

Consider body clipping if your horse:

Has a high activity level: Clipping prevents excessive sweating during winter exercise, speeding up cool-down and reducing the risk of chills.
Has access to shelter: Horses stabled in barns, especially heated ones, won't need their full winter coat. Clipped horses will typically need blanketing.
Grows a thick coat: Clipping helps prevent overheating, excessive sweat buildup, and skin irritation in horses with particularly dense coats that trap moisture.
Has Cushing's disease (PPID): Clipping helps horses with Cushing's who struggle to shed, keeping them cooler and more comfortable year-round.
Struggles with Anhidrosis: For horses that don't sweat properly, particularly in warm climates, clipping can improve airflow and aid cooling.
Is prone to skin conditions: Clipping can help moisture evaporate more quickly and make treatment easier for issues like rain rot or fungus.
Needs summer cooling: If your horse has a thick coat, works hard in hot weather, or lives in a humid climate, year-round clipping can help keep them cool. Remember to use fly spray and equine sunscreen on clipped horses in summer.

Pricing varies based on the type of clip. We offer full body clips, generally ranging from $120-$150, and partial clips between $30-$100. Please note, I have less experience with more elaborate clipping styles.

Give your horse the full spa treatment with our comprehensive bath and groom services! We use high-quality products like Mane 'n Tail and Cowboy Magic to leave your horse looking and feeling their best. Our full-service bath and groom is available for $20 per horse, or if you have multiple horses, we offer an hourly rate of $30 per hour.

Stall Cleaning Services

Let us take the chore of stall cleaning off your hands, so you can focus on other projects or spend time with your family. We're happy to clean stalls to your exact specifications, whether you prefer a thick, fluffy bed or a more minimalist approach. Our rate is $20 an hour.

Show Braiding & Plaiting

Prepare your horse for the show ring with our professional braiding and plaiting service. While our focus isn't extensive show ring experience, we're highly skilled in creating precise and elegant braids that will have your horse looking its best.
